One man’s waste is another man’s resource. Food production produces a lot of biological waste and this waste is a problem as disposing of it means bad smells and unsightly places. many times this waste is dumped in the desert or shipped out at sea where its dumped into the water.

Besides the obvious environmental problems this produces, it’s also an almost unforgivable waste of resources. Not only will proper use of those wastes produce green energy, but it also produces valuable green CO2 that can be used in greenhouses to improve plant growth and increase plant yield, it can also be used to produce synthetic fuels required by sectors such as aviation.

That being said, in a dry country on the Arabian peninsula or in North Africa water is a perennial issue. Dumping animal sludge and vegetable remains into the desert or the sea also dumps a lot of very high-quality water that can be recovered and hence reduces expensive desalination or aquifer needs.
