The world is in a huge transformation towards cleaner energy than what we are using up to now. Thats a challenging proposition as many technologies still suffer from many flaws that have to be ironed out over time. They are also very expensive – especially if used in isolation. And in some cases, as it is with hydrogen, the product is outright dangerous and very hard to handle, transport and store.
The bio-energy part of the green energy world has existed for many decades and has plenty of operational experience with many different processes that are in use today. Most of the time, the prime commodity used to feed the process is the most expensive part of the process. If this consists mainly of bio-wastes there should be a corresponding drop in costs especially if transport is short.
Bio-energy such as bio-methane can be used in all human endeavors from transportation fuel to power production and all sorts of industrial uses. And such biomethane is also fully compatible with the trillions of USD worth of Natural Gas infrastructure that exists in the world today without modification. it can even be used to tame the hydrogen molecule, all while fully complying with any green legislation anywhere on Earth.
